Sotira: Looking Back at 2021

We had a busy year since founding Sotira in March 2021.
-We onboarded our first class of fall interns through Berkeley SkyDeck and have a new class of interns starting for spring 2022 and some already committed for summer 2022.
-We onboarded our first group of sellers and resellers in closed beta for our expense tracker product.
-We launched 3 pricing discovery calculators on https://sotira.co.
-We legally incorporated Sotira as a Delaware C Corp.

Sotira was part of a few startup incubator programs.
-Sotira was a selected startup in the June 2021 National Science Foundation (NSF) I-Corps Customer Discovery Program in partnership with Berkeley Haas Entrepreneurship.
-Sotira is a graduate of the Berkeley SkyDeck HotDesk-12 Spring 2021 Incubator Program and is currently in the Pad-13 Fall 2021 Incubator Program.
-Sotira was part of the first cohort of the LystenNetwork — Startup Community Incubator in Spring 2021.

Sotira was also recognized at a few contests.
-3rd place at the TiE Silicon Valley Student Startup Pitch Contest in Spring 2021.
-1st place at the Entrepreneurs At Berkeley Demo Day Contest in Spring 2021.
-2nd place at the UC Berkeley Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology Startup Pitch Contest in Fall 2021.

We are excited to see what 2022 holds and are looking forward to launching the rest of Sotira’s features to the public!
